Stay away from Cryptogurus on Instagram and all social media

This week I was with an entrepreneur in the Cryptocurrencies industry and together we were talking about how social media manipulates reality. We agreed that social media has become a shabby and fake place where people want to show and appear. Every day I come across sponsored advertisements from selfstyled Cryptogurus on Instagram showing photos of amazing watches, exotic cars and incredible lifestyle.

They often get photographed in cities like Dubai, London or New York. You see them driving Lamborghinis or jet skis and the most common hashtags are #lifestyle #laptoplifestyle #bitcoinmillionaire etc … You see them on private jets or in the Maldives. Then there are motivational phrases and famous quotes from important entrepreneurs. In the bio, however, then read “DM for info” (!?). I feel like saying: “What the hell!? This guy is millionaire. Why should I DM him for info?“ Do you know why? Most of these people are scoundrels who took a week’s vacation in some exotic location, hired a photographer and took lots of photos on different cars and private jets. There are specialized companies that make photo books at the customer’s request.

When you contact them, these people want to sell you a $ 5,000 accelerated trading videocourse or sign up for some Ponzi scheme, with too unbalanced and unsustainable compensation plans in the medium-long term (examples are Onecoin, which has stolen $ 4 billion to unsuspecting investors and Hyperfund). These people don’t care about you or your dreams. They get rich from the sale of these videocourses or from the income from these affiliations. They don’t get rich from trading or providing useful services. They sell false hope to people. If you ask any questions or are skeptical, they ask you: “Do you give up your dreams so easily?” I met some professional traders. They are closed most of the day in one room.

Do you know what they told me? “I don’t have time to teach others, trading takes up all my time.” Do you know who your best teacher is? Yourself. If you start studying cryptocurrencies even for just two hours a day, I can guarantee you that in 1 year you can become a professional in this sector. My mentor, Earl Nightingale, in his “The Strangest Secret” audio says that we don’t value free things, we value only the things we pay for with money. The Internet and Youtube are full of free resources on Cryptocurrencies. Don’t give your money to scoundrels. Each exchange has very valid training material for its users, I recommend Binance Academy. If you are a newbie YouTube is full of free videos of talented trainers who teach you how to open a wallet, how to make a transaction, how to keep your cryptocurrencies safe, which exchanges to choose.

A winner is a dreamer who never gives up.
